It’s almost impossible to open an email without reading another special offer to buy something that will build your list for you while you sleep. Even brand new newbies to Internet Marketing know that you need a list to market your products and services to, so almost everyone marketing online is interested in list building.Building your list is critical to your marketing campaigns. No one can dispute that if they want to stay in business. An opt-in list gives you permission to send information and special offers to those on your list. Without one you cannot market to anyone via email. With one, you can build customer loyalty and trust in your recommendations. That loyalty and trust will build your business for you.

Resale rights come in several formats and are powerful tools to use to build your list and your business. Here are four popular resale rights you can purchase and use with the products they came with. The most well-known and most often used are Private Label Rights, basic Resale Rights, Master Resale Rights and Giveaway Rights.

With basic Resale Rights (RR), you can purchase a product and resell it to your customers on websites, blogs or with email marketing. What you cannot do is pass on the resale rights to your customers when they buy your offer. Don’t discount this method. Not everyone on your list wants to resell what they buy from you. Some are building a private library of information. If your price is reasonable, inexpensive, you will build a loyal following.

Master Resale Rights (MRR) are very valuable to everyone wanting to build a lucrative list. You can sell the product and the resale rights, either with the product or separately. Many marketers sell the ebook, for example, for an affordable price and offer the Master Resale Rights separately for more money.

The actual value to the marketers on your list is the Master Resale Rights. These rights will not only build your list with the double opt-in process when they purchase, but will keep your list customers happy with you.

Private Label Rights (PLR) have quickly become the darling of all marketers, pros and newbies alike. With these rights on ebooks, reports, articles, graphics and software, you can do anything you want to do with them.

To start with, you can claim authorship and just resell it as your own ebook. While that might sound like a good idea, don’t do that. Every lazy marketer on the Web will do that and there will be lots of identical ebooks or products circulating with different author names on them. That mistake will create a crowd of angry customers who bought the same product more than once.

A better process would be to rewrite major parts of the PLR product, adding fresh content, changing the name and chapter titles and putting a new cover on it, making it a new product and attractive to Google. Some rewrite PLR articles and then resell them to other marketers in bundles. Membership sites offering a certain number of new PLR products free to members on a monthly basis can be found all over the Web.

Giveaway products are always welcomed by your list members. Who doesn’t want something for free? You probably got some yourself as thank you downloads from the owners of the lists you belong to. From a marketing point of view, free giveaway reports and ebooks are used as a reward exchange for the browser’s email. You get the email and the right to freely market to your list member and they get a free download of a valuable product.

Building a list is only part of the total marketing process. Keeping your list happy and looking forward to your emails is the difficult part. Unsubscribing is only a click away and you lose a customer if they don’t find value in your products. Basically, it is just quality customer service.

Give your customer what they want and make those products worth the money they pay you. Offer discounts when you can and send them free downloads often.

Wouldn’t quality customer service ensure your loyalty?
