Have a great website but having a problem getting traffic? Wish you had more traffic but just not sure how to get there? There are many ways to get traffic, but the fastest and easiest is to add video.

Give this some thought. How many people in the world would rather read than watch a television program? Chances are, most of the people you know relax in front of the T.V. after putting in a hard day’s work. This is because reading makes you think more, and thus is more work. , they don’t have to imagine the place the characters are in or what they look like, all of that is shown on the TV itself. That’s also why people remember stories better based on moving images, rathere than reading the stories.

It’s the exact same thing for videos in the internet. This is why it’s so important to build a video website. Videos will add power to your website, and will help you convey the story you are trying to get across to people. And if you build a video website using a respected service such as YouTube clone or Video Blizzard, you’re sure to expose your site to a very large market! Theree is no way your traffic won’t go up!

Of course there are any number of services, software etc that will allow you to build a video website, like with all things, some are better than others, depending on what you are looking for. The reason that I really like Video Blizzard is the way it grabs the videos from YouTube and then places them into my website, all based on the primary tag that is used. YTc does this also, but not quite as well. The one thing that really sets the VB service apart from the others is that it lets you manage all of your video sites online in one interface, 1000′s if that what you have. I haven’t seen anything like this anywhere else.

Tags are generally just one or two words that people use to try and describe the video. For instance, if I were to make a video to accompany this article, I would use tags like website, traffic, enhance, video, stats, how, increase. So again, one of the reasons I prefer Video Blizzard when I build a video website is because it allows me to choose just one tag and then lock out all others. So here is an example, if you have an internet marketing website, you most likely want to show videos having to do with this. So you would use internet marketing as your default tag in VB, and then click the button to keep all other tags out. This would keep your videos targeted, and would insure that the search engines kept it so also.

A number of video based services like those we’ve been talking about also pull full meta tags and descriptions from the videos that they get from YouTube. This is a must for any systerm that helps you build a video website. This is the meat of what allows search engines spider your website and get the needed information to list your videos correctly.

One of the biggest reasons to use a third party systerm to build a video website is for cost and server bandwidth. If you use a service or product like VB or YTc, the videos remain on YouTube and just get pulled and displayed on your video website. That means the videos are never stored on your server and come straight from YouTube, leaving them to pay all of the storage and bandwidth bills. Certainly there are a number of other systems and software out there that allow you to build a video website but many if not most of these require you to upload and store the videos on your own web server, something that could really drive up the cost of running video website.

Without doubt there are reasons a person might want to use systems like ClipShare or PHPMotion, both of these are pretty cool and allow you to upload other video. You could use these if you wanted videos that weren’t on YouTube, or if you really wanted to control which videos went on your website. Both PHPMotion and ClipShare have nice and flexible interfaces and should be supported by just about any host. Of course nothing is perfect, so you have to consider the extra cost especially when you realize you could upload your own videos to YouTube if desired and then use VB to host without the extra associated cost.

If you are a person that needs proof that building a video website is something that makes a lot of sense, you will see proof all over the internet, just do a search for the term “video website”. You’ll also see how when you search in Google these days, videos always come up on top of the page. So if you really want to make sure you get noticed by Google (still number one by the way), do it with video.

The truth is that the Internet is growing more and more everyday, and the fastest growing part of the internet is video. Don’t wait any longer and build a video website today!
